It's Ada's big weekend - 101st Farmers' & Merchants' Picnic; parade, truck & tractor pulls, entertainment & more
This weekend is the 101st annual Ada Farmers’ and Merchants’ Picnic. There’s lots of activities for all age groups and interest groups.

Events take place Friday, Aug. 8, and Saturday, Aug. 9, in the War Memorial Park, Ada. For additional information about the event call 419-235-4231.
Here’s this year’s schedule:
Friday, Aug. 8
• Party in the Back 40.
Gates open 5 p.m. Nashville Crush on stage from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
• Picnic Pull, 7 p.m. (schedule at bottom of story)
Saturday, Aug. 9
• 8 a.m. – OWHA Show, contest, halter and performance classes
• 9:30 a.m. parade – West Lincoln to Main Street to Park
• 10:30 a.m. – Main stage, flag raising, crowning of Little Prince and Princess
• 11 a.m. – Main stage, Pedal tractor pull for kids
• Noon – golf cart pull
• 1 to 3 p.m. Al Best Band
• 3 to 4 p.m., Lima Bean Chorus
• 4 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Hypnotic Vision
Corn hole tournament in Back 40
• 1 p.m. - registration
• 2 p.m. - tournament
