Bluffton Hospital’s Garau Street entrance now closing at 5:30 p.m.
Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2, the Garau Street entrance at Bluffton Hospital will be closing at 5:30 p.m. The entrance was previously open until 8 p.m.
Patients, family and visitors are encouraged to use the emergency room entrance when entering the building after 5:30 p.m.
“With the addition of our new emergency department and the ability to register and direct patients from that entrance, having one central location after normal business hours is advantageous for everyone,” said Chris Keller, chief administrative officer of Bluffton Hospital. “There is convenient parking and available volunteers and associates that will be able to meet your needs.”
