Thomas More women post 7-0 shutout at Bluffton

BLUFFTON, Ohio - On Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, the Bluffton Beavers took on the Thomas More College Saints and were defeated by a final score of 7-0. The Saints jumped out to a quick start, scoring less than 10 minutes into the match and adding on three more tallies in the first 45 minutes.
Bluffton was unable to slow the visitors down as the Saints produced three more goals in the second half while cruising to the victory. This loss dropped the Beavers to 1-5, while the Saints stayed unblemished at 8-0.
Thomas More outshot Bluffton 26-1 with 13 attempts in each half. Freshman keeper KATIE NEELEY (Huber Heights/Wayne) finished the contest with 12 saves.
The Beavers hope to bounce back when they travel to face Grace Bible College on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 4:30. Go Beavers!
