Council may declare East Elm Street property a nuisance
Bluffton council will act on Monday whether to declare a Bluffton property as a nuisance.
The property is at 128 E. Elm St., located at the corner of Elm and Vance. It is an abandoned car wash. Documentation of the planned legislation is part of the council packet, which is an attachment at the bottom of this story.
In other council action, Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator, reports that Diller Flooring completed the installation of the new flooring on the town hall third floor on Oct. 3. The new flooring was required due to the town hall water main break this spring.
The bid opening for the Kibler Street Water Main Replacement and Garmatter
Street Water Main Replacement projects took place Sept. 26.
The bid tabulations are in the council packet. Beaverdam Contracting, Inc. appears to be the lowest, responsible bidder for each project.
Additional council agenda items are part of the packet in the attachment at the bottom of this story.
