Northwest Physical Therapy and Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio highlight physical therapy month
Northwest Physical Therapy and Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio have partnered together for more than two decades to provide rehab services to Bluffton and the surrounding area. October is National Physical Therapy month and a chance to highlight this local partnership of Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Wanda Dean, Physical Therapist and owner of Northwest Physical Therapy said, "Our partnership with the Mennonite Home over the past 20 plus years has been wonderful. We use the phrase 'Neighbors Helping Neighbors' because that truly is how we operate. Our therapists and assistants live here, often times working with an aunt, cousin or someone they know at church or from school -- bringing a real sense of family and community during rehabilitation at Mennonite Memorial Home."
In addition, the Mennonite Memorial Home has recently opened its new Transition to Home Rehab Center. This newly renovated center provides 12 private rooms with in-room bathrooms and showers, a spacious dining room and lounge specifically for therapy clients and a well equipped therapy room available to both resident and out-patient therapy clients.
