BFR announces Halloween party, next Paint and Sip, plus winter hours
BFR Sports & Fitness will provide a free Halloween event from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday,
October 26. The event will include games, crafts, and snacks for families with young children. A costume judging contest is scheduled for 3 p.m., with divisions for ages 0-3 years, 4-6 years, 7-10 years, 11 and older, and a family/group division.
The third of a series of painting programs will be held from 6;15-9 p.m. Monday,
November 10 at the Bluffton Sportsman Club. The Paint and Sip will feature Marilyn Reed of Marilyn's Artistry leading participants in painting a winter scene. All materials, appetizers and a glass of wine are included in the $35 fee. Pre-paid registrations are required by October 31 and may be made in person, by telephone or at www.bfronline.com website.
Weekend hours at BFR Sports & Fitness have been extended. Hours are now 5:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, and 1-9 p.m. Sunday.
Indoor soccer leagues begin the week of November 2. Open recreation is available from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, at a cost of $5 per person or free with a BFR membership or family red pass. Indoor Soccer open recreation is available for adults from 7-9 p.m. Wednesdays and for high school age players from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on
Wednesdays. Guest fee of $5 or membership/rec pass is required.
