Bluffton police alert: Several residential burglaries near Bluffton
Bluffton police sent area residents a Nixel alert earlier this evening warning that there have been several residential burglaries in adjacent areas to Bluffton.
The alert encouraged residents to lock cars, homes, and out buildings.
Here's the complete message:
Neighboring law enforcement report a number of home burglaries during the overnight hours. We remind all residents to secure their property, homes, out buildings and vehicles.
Suspects are entering occupied homes during night hours. Suspects are gaining access through unlocked homes and using keys found in cars to open homes. Garage door openers are also a risk in unlocked cars.
Immediately call 911 if you hear or see something concerning to you.
