Ada woman killed, Ada man injured in SR 81 accident this morning
Carla M. Dysert, 56, of Ada, was killed in a two-vehicle accident this morning at 8:42 a.m. on State Route 81 in Allen County, according to a report from the Allen County Sheriff’s office.
James R. Britt, 30, of Ada, was injured in the crash.
According to the sheriff’s report, the crash occurred when Britt, heading eastbound on Ohio State Route 81, lost control of his 1994 Mazda and went over the center line and into the path of Dysert’s 2004 Buick SUV, which was headed west.
Following the crash Britt was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Another vehicle, driven by Kayla Dodds, of Lima, was behind Dysert. The Dodds vehicle swerved to avoid the crash, but was struck by Britt’s car. Dodds was not injured, according to the report.
Dysert is the mother of Zac Dysert, who is a member of the Denver Broncos football team.
