"Making sense of vocation" focus of Nov. 25 forum
Shari Ayers, director of Bluffton University’s Center for Career and Vocation, will address “The WORK of Gratitude: Making Sense of Vocation in a Complex World” in a Bluffton forum at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, in Yoder Recital Hall. The program is free and open to the public.
Ayers will discuss what she calls the “occasionally popular, yet frequently dismissed” concept of vocation. “With a little history, a bit of cultural studies and a giant dose of unapologetic enthusiasm for the lives we could be leading,” she will ask if the term still has meaning in an increasingly complex world.
