Treva Dillman Suter celebrates 96th birthday
Treva Dillman Suter celebrated her 96th birthday at the Mennonite Memorial Home on Thursday, November 27 with her children, Marylin (Richard) Basinger, Jim Dillman and Diane (Jim) Elshire. Treva was born in Putnam County to Willis and Martha Basinger. She had four brothers: Vernon, Emory, Gerald, and Leland Basinger.
Treva retired from Triplett Corporation and received a watch for 25 years of service. She is a member of the First Mennonite Church, Bluffton, Ohio, and was active in their women's guild. She is also a charter member of the Progressive Mother's Club.
Treva enjoys music and reminiscing with family and friends. Before moving to the Mennonite Home, she enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and doing word find puzzles. Greetings can be sent to Treva, c/o the Mennonite Home, 410 W. Elm Street, Bluffton.
