With over 100 units, the 2014 Blaze of Lights parade was the largest and longest in Blaze history. The parade entertained a crowd at places five people deep and lasted 60 minutes.
Temperatures actually rose during the parade. Starting at 4 p.m. the Citizens National Bank temperature read 48 degrees. By 8 p.m. the temperature reached 53 making it a very pleasant Thanksgiving weekend downtown.
