500 to 600 wrestling fans come to Bluffton on Saturday; BHS host to county tournament
From 500 to 600 high school wrestling parents and fans will be in Bluffton on Saturday, according to Alex Hanna, Bluffton High School athletic director.
Bluffton High School will host the 2014-15 Allen County wrestling tournament. Ten schools will bring wrestlers. Those schools are:
• Bluffton
• Allen East
• Bath
• Delphos Jefferson
• Delphos St. John’s
• Elida
• Lima Central Catholic
• Lima Senior
• Shawnee
• Spencerville
Hanna said that the tournament includes 14 weight classes. The first round of the five-round robin pool begins wrestling at 10 a.m.
Finals take place at 5:30 p.m. (or 45 minutes after the round robin pool ends).
