Edmiston, Kindred, McKinley to retire at end of school year
Bluffton school board on Monday accepted the resignation of three teachers who have made lasting impacts on Bluffton students for several decades.
The resignations are effective at the end of this school year for:
• Mary Edmiston with 37 years teaching in Bluffton
• Julie Kindred with 17 years teaching Bluffton
• Susan McKinley with 24 years teaching in Bluffton
In addition to that action, the board approved several items including:
• A list of substitute teachers at $80 per day
• Student teaching assignment for Victoria Swartz Herr of Ohio Northern University, teaching with Scott Hoff Jan. 12 to May 1
• Student teaching assignment for Allison Boley of Ohio Northern University, teaching with Jaime Erford, Jan. 12 to May 1
• Student teaching assignment for Joel Dueler of Ohio Northern University, teaching with Sue Epp, Jan. 12 to May 1
• The board set 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 12, as it reorganization meeting for 2015.
