Bluffton offering winter classes to retirees
Bluffton University’s Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR), an educational program for retirees, is offering three classes on Wednesdays, Feb. 4-March 4, in the Kreider Room in Marbeck Center.
The winter term costs $60, which allows participants to take as many classes as they wish. The fee is due at the time of registration, which is open until Jan. 28 or until classes are full.
Each Wednesday, participants will look at “Divine Comedy: Cartoons with a Message from God,” from 10-11:30 a.m.; “Storytelling,” from 1-2 p.m.; and, in a colloquium course from 2:15-3:30 p.m., such stories as traveling on a camel for 12 days, serving as a female pilot during war and experiencing the lives of homeless people in New York through a photographer’s lens.
To register or for more information, contact JP Schumacher, ILR director, at [email protected] or 419-358-3346.
