PTO's Saturday night Bakery Bingo is the hottest thing in town
It's the hottest thing in Bluffton's coldest month. It's Bluffton Elementary PTO Bakery Bingo and its Saturday, Jan. 31.
This year's event, open to the public, is from 6 to 8 p.m. in the middle school cafetorium. Doors open at 5 p.m.
A concession stand is available, which offers everything from chicken sandwiches, pretzels with cheese, and other items, including Luke's Pizza and Common Grounds coffee.
Bingo cards are 12 for $1. Winners have your choice of any donated baked goods.
STILL ACCEPTING DONATIONS
Persons interested in donating baked good for the event may drop items off at the middle school cafeteria between 2-6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31.
Mark baked goods with an elementary teacher's name. That way the classroom has the possibility of winning classroom cash for the top three combined donated items, such as baked goods, volunteers, and items in the classroom themed basket.
PTO volunteers also ask that to help persons with allergies/diabetes, please mark your baked good accordingly.
50-50 tickets
The event also includes 50/50 tickets with cash prizes. Ticket holders buy raffle tickets to put in containers next to baskets they hope to to win.
This year's event includes many baskets to choose from, including classroom-themed baskets, and baskets put together with items donated by many Bluffton area businesses.
Groups and businesses interested in donating baskets may contact Melissa Knauss at [email protected], or 419-659-5436 or Tammy Whitlow at [email protected], or 419-358-0129.
