Bluffton music teachers earn certification
Krysti and Philip Schey of Bluffton, Ohio have recently been recognized as Nationally Certified Teachers of Music (NCTM) by the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). They are certified as piano teachers.
Krysti Schey earned her B.A. in Music from Bluffton University in 2008, then earned her Masters in Piano Pedagogy from Bowling Green State University in 2010. Krysti is the Independent Music Teachers Forum Chair (IMTF) for Ohio’s MTNA, and is the co-vice president for marketing and membership for Middle West Ohio’s Music Teacher Association.
Philip Schey earned his B.A. in Music Education from Bluffton University in 2009. Besides private teaching, Philip also works as a piano tuner.
Krysti and Philip own and operate Krysti’s Music Studio in Bluffton, which provides private music lessons to over 150 students. With additional locations in Shawnee and Spencerville, the studio offers lessons on piano, voice, theory & composition, guitar, banjo, mandolin, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, saxophone, flute, oboe, bassoon, and also art lessons.
