Donald Dalrymple was a U.S. Air Force veteran
Donald K. Dalrymple, 80, died on Feb. 8, 2015, at 2:37 a.m. at the Meadows of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ohio.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1934, in Lima, Ohio, to William F. and Beulah (Jones) Dalrymple and they preceded him in death. On May 24, 1958, he married Patricia LaRue and she survives in Pandora.
He retired from the Ford Motor Company, Lima, in 1997 after working for 32 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served from 1954 to 1958. He attended the Pandora Missionary Church.
Also surviving are two sons: Richard (Shelly) Dalrymple of Akron and Todd (Lisa) Dalrymple of Modesto, Calif.; four daughters: Terri Moening of Sidney, Sharon LaRue of Louisville, Ky., Donna (Bryan) Weber of Pandora ,and Cindy Sommers of Columbus Grove; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Robert (June) Dalrymple of Dayton.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery with graveside military rites being
conducted by the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb.10, from 6-8 p.m. at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Putnam County Hospice.
