BFR to offer pre-season baseball and softball training
Area youth ages 10 and older are invited to participate in new training programs provided by BFR Sports & Fitness. The Thursday after-school programs will include fundamental drills to improve batting and fielding.
Baseball players will meet on Feb. 19, March 5 and March 19 and softball players will meet on Feb. 26, March 12 and March 26; all sessions run from 4:30-6 PM. Cost for three sessions of training is $40 ($20 BFR members). A maximum of 12 athletes will be accepted; if space remains, participants may choose to attend only one or two of the sessions.
Evan Skilliter will lead the training clinics with assistance from area youth coaches and college players. Registration is available by telephone (49-358-4150) or online www.bfronline.com.
