Mount Cory and Pleasant View UM begin 40-day Lenten series
The Ash Wednesday service for the Mount Cory and Pleasant View United
Methodist Churches will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18 at
Pleasant View United Methodist Church, 300 County Road 37, Bluffton.
This service begins the churches' 40-day Walk to the Cross
Lenten program. Worshipers at the service will receive a Lenten prayer
journal and a sack cloth prayer stole to use for the Lenten season's
activities. Children will receive an activity sheet. The Walk to the Cross will include Bible study, prayer workshop, worship, an exercise program for all ages,
and children's activities. The Walk to the Cross is also available to shut-ins and in area nursing homes. The service and activities will be led by Pastors Mark and dj
Fuerstenau.
