Concerning February's weather: Will someone please do something about it!
Everyone talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it.
The Icon hopes someone does something.
According to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer, the last day we experienced above freezing temperatures was on Wednesday, Feb. 11, when the thermometer reached all of 34 degrees.
We've only experience two February days with readings higher than 43. Thoses were two-day wonders, Feb. 7 and Feb. 8.
Meanwhile the "highest" low degree for February was 29 on Feb. 8.
And, making the chill even more interesting, note the highs and lows on Feb. 15 and 16:
• Sunday, Feb. 15 - high = 6 • low = minus 5
• Monday, Feb. 16 - high = 10 • low = 2
