Lima author has March 28 book signing at Book Reviews
A first-time author will have a book signing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 28, at Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., accoding to Dr. Christina Walton, store manager.
Mary Suzanne Hofmann of Lima will sign copies of her book "From Diapers to Diapers: A Journey through Life."
Walton said, "Everyone has a story to tell about their journey through life. Mary Suzanne Hofmann started writing down stories for her grandchildren, as seen in early chapters, “There has to be a beginning… and this is it” and ends with, “Takin’ the train to heaven.”
"From Diapers to Diapers: A Journey through Life," is a memoir of stories that venture into coming of age, divorce, Hofmann’s return to college in her 40s to becoming an registered nurse, and many other stories that happen to be hilarious, heartwarming, and inspiring, for anyone facing a challenge or obstacle on their life.
Some of the proceeds from the book will go to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as three of Hofmann’s grandchildren, triplets, each was diagnosed at different stages of their lives with cystic fibrosis.
"Customers, also, keep in mind that Book ReViews donates nearly 50 percent of net profits annually to the Mennonite Central Committee for world-wide relief efforts," said Walton.
