Robert W. Housh 1930-2015
Robert "Bob" W. Housh, 84, died at 7:45 a.m. March 31, 2015, at his residence.He was born Oct. 5, 1930, in LaMoure, N.D., to the late Charles and Dorothy (Witt) Housh. On Dec. 7, 1962, he married Gloria (Bruse) Housh who survives.
He graduated from LaMoure High School, LaMoure, N.D. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Rodman and served over three years. After being discharged, he attended Wahpeton School of Science. He had worked at Findlay Music, Arnold Vending, Lowe's and Sears, both in Findlay. He was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Findlay where he taught Sunday School and was an elder for many years.
Survivors also include a daughter, Robin Housh-Clymer of Raleigh, N.C.; a son, Randy (Kathy) Housh of Bluffton; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother David Housh.
Services will be held Saturday April 4, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Findlay. Pastor Bob Krueger and Vicar Laudy officiating. Burial will be in Knollcrest Cemetery.
Following the service a fellowship meal will be provided at the church. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay.
