Library books in honor of Treva Stratton
Treva Stratton was recognized by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce with three books donated in her name to the Bluffton Public Library.
The book titles: "Chocolate Hair, Vanilla Care," "Fabulous Teen Hairstyles," and "Braids, Buns and Twists," are now in circulation.
Stratton, owner of Treva's Beauty Shop," is among the longest-ever continually operating businesses in the community. The chamber recognized her in October for her 60-plus years in business. The recognition took place at the same meeting when the chamber recognized the Curling Iron as it celebrated its 40th anniversary in business.
Treva Stratton is the mother of Sue Fett, who started the Curling Icon.
