School board accepts three resignations, hires four teachers
Four new certified employees were offered teaching contracts and three resignations were accepted at the May 11 Bluffton school board meeting.
New contracts were offered to:
• Emily Warner, 1-year contract, MA +15-Step 8, $50,558
• Amy Butte, 1-year contract, MA-Step 6, $45,611
• Becky Boblitt, 1-year, MA-Step 12, $55,110
• Angela Francis, 1-year, MA-Step 12, $55,110
Resignations were accepted, effective May 29, from:
• Jaime Neff, teacher
• Bryant Miller, teacher
• Sue Steiner, cafeteria worker
The maintenance supervisor contract for Michael Wilson was set at $59,305 for next school year. He was issued a two-year contract effective July 1, 2016-June 30, 2018.
The assistant treasurer contract for Jessica Grandey, was set for $40,388 for next school year. She was issued a two-year contract effective July 1, 2016-June 30, 2018.
Several other actions took place including the approval of 85 graduates in the class of 2015. The list of graduates and other board agenda items is in the attachment at the bottom of this story.
