Dean Miller was a 1978 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School
Former Pandora resident Dean Alan Miller, 55, of Dawsonville, Ga., died May 14, 2015, at 1:35 p.m. following an extended illness. He was born Dec. 28, 1959, in Pandora, to Ellen Mae Miller and the late Paul E. Miller. He was married to his wife of 24 years, Susan Nelson Miller on March 30, 1985, who also preceded him in death.
Mr. Miller graduated in 1978 from Pandora-Gilboah High School and attended the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla. A member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Alpharetta, Ga., he worked during school years in the summer for Bill Hohenbrink, Rockport, owner of Vinyl Porch Enclosures and Greenhouses, Dunedin, Fla., and for the past 15 years as a manager for Home Depot in Dawsonville, Ga.
Mr. Miller is survived by his son, Brian (Jessica) Miller, Cumming, Ga.; grandson, Ryland Dean Miller; daughter, Kristen Miller, Cumming Ga.; sisters, Deborah (Neil) Pauff, Lima, Cheryl (Richard) Bayless, Prospect, brother, Jay (Nina) Miller, Sevierville, Tenn.; nephews, Dr. James (Beth) Pauff and their sons, Alexander, Andrew Pauff, Nashville, Tenn., Frank Pauff, Columbus; nieces, Amalie (Jake) Rowland and their son Wyatt, Delaware, Lauren Bayless, Columbus, Allyson Bayless, Boston, Mass., Lindsey (Robert) Saville and their daughter Mekinsey, Springtown, Texas.
Memorial services will be held May 16, at 10 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Alpharetta followed by an interment service at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming. Pastor Larry Zahn officiated.
