Joseph Beagle named executive director of Bluffton Family Recreation
Bluffton Family Recreation has announcement the appointment of Joseph Beagle as its executive director, according to Joe Duling, BFR board president.
“I’m happy to be with BFR. I look forward to continue the programming already in place and am working to expand BFR’s programs in the next year,” said Beagle. “We have a great staff and a great community support.”
Duling said that Beagle brings a wide background of administrative experience to BFR.
An Arlington native, he holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and business administration and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Findlay.
He joins BFR after a career in the finance industry. He coached junior high girls’ basketball four seasons and high school football for 10 seasons. In addition, he helped develop a youth football league.
Working with non-profit agencies, he has volunteered with the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society.
Bluffton Family Recreation, a non-profit organization located at 215 Snider Road, Bluffton, has nearly 800 members and served 2,500 persons last year. Its programming includes activities for all age groups and it offers a programming year-around.
