Wow! I didn't know all these events are planned at BFR
Several programs take place in July at Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Joseph Beagle, director. Registration and more information is available at BFR, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton, 419-358-4150 or on the web at www.bfronline.com.
3-on-3 basketball
A 3-on-3 basketball tournament is open to high school students and adults. All games are played at BFR on starting at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 9, with one team emerging as the tournament winner. Cost is $75 per team.
Golf outing
July 1 is the deadline to register for the Saturday, July 10, BFR golf outing at Bluffton Golf Club. Cost is $60 per golfer and $240 per team.
T-ball
Games are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at the village park. The season ends on Aug. 6.
Football camp
Seventh and eighth graders may register for a football camp held Monday through Friday, July 13-16. The camp is from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Cost for each camper is $50.
Basketball camp
Fourth through eighth grade boys and girls can attend basketball camps each Friday in July starting July 10. Camps are from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The camps are for advanced players. Campers should bring a basketball, clothing and water bottle. Cost for each camper is $50, which covers the entire month.
Ride to Remember
A bicycle experience for families all the way to the serious 100-mile biker is held Saturday, July 11. A mass start, which is optional, is at 8 a.m. For more information visit www.ridetoremember.net.
Paint and Sip
Painting night is held from 6-9 p.m., Thursday, July 16, at the Bluffton Sportsmen’s Club. Cost is $35.
Walk to Run
Walk to Run gets runners in shape for the Saturday, Sept. 5, Labor Day 5K. The class meets twice a week from July 13 to Sept. 3. No prior running experience needed. Participants determine meeting days and times. Cost is $32 for BFR members and $48 for non-members. Runners who complete the program receive $5 off entry to BFR Labor Day Weekend run.
British Soccer Camp
For youth ages 3 to 18, the camp takes place from Monday, July 27, to Friday, July 31. It offers several class levels, times and registration fees for different age groups.

• Saturday, Aug. 22 – All-day 3-on-3 coed volleyball, $100 per team
• Saturday, Aug. 29 – Adult flag football league begins
