Storytime comes to the Farmers' Market Saturday AM
Old Mac Donald's Farm comes to the Bluffton Farmers' Market on Saturday.
Bluffton Public Library's Storytime for children ages 3 to 5 will take place at the market from 9 to 9:40 a.m., according to Esther Birkey, youth services coordinator at the library. On Saturday all ages are welcome to listen.
"During regular Storytime at the library, we read two or three stories, have a snack and complete a coloring or craft activity. On Saturday I plan to read 'E-I-E-I-O How Old Mac Donald Got His Farm' by Judy Sierra," said Birkey.
"I will also have a basket with a number of books for the children to choose from. I will have some activity sheets - word searches and coloring sheets - with a farming theme for the children to complete," she added.
Birkey invites any of the vendors who would like to grab a book and read to any of the children visiting the market they are welcome to do so.
The market is located in the Citizens National Bank parking lot on South Main Street. Market hours are 8:30 a.m. to noon.
