Kelly Birchnaugh was a U.S. Army veteran
Kelly E. Birchnaugh, 65, died Aug. 1, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at his residence. Kelly was born May 13, 1950, in Bluffton to Joseph and Evelyn (Petty) Birchnaugh who preceded him in death. On July 11, 1986, he married Debra Dray Birchnaugh and she survives.
Kelly was a heavy equipment operator for Gerken Materials, Bluffton. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors also include three children Kathy Ann (Terry) Whitaker of Bluffton, Jessie (Emily ) Birchnaugh of Columbus Grove, Kelli Sue Lawler of Columbus Grove; a sister, Kay Lambert of Bluffton; and five grandchildren Jacob Neuenschwander, Brittany Neuenschwander, Dylan Birchnaugh, Dawson Birchnaugh and Dane Birchnaugh.
Kelly was preceded in death by a brother, Allan Birchnaugh.
Services will be held Tuesday Aug. 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Richard "Dick" Dray to officiate the service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton following the service where military rites will be performed.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon - 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
