Bluffton school offices are now open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays in anticipation of the new school year. Here is some information posted on the school website concerning back-to-school details.

Monday, Aug. 31 - first day of school

Elementary

Middle School

Schedule Pick Up/Pictures take place Friday, Aug. 21, and  Monday,  Aug. 24 from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. Class fee payments are due when schedules are picked up.

6th Grade Orientation
A 6th grade orientation for students and parents is from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 27,  in the Middle School cafetorium. 

After a brief presentation by the 6th grade teachers, 6th grade students and parents are invited to explore the Middle Schoo building and given the chance to ask questions of the staff.  

Reminder - Incoming 7th Graders
All 7th grade students must have a TDAP immunization booster shot prior to starting the school year.  Documentation must be turned into the office prior to Monday, Aug. 31

High School

Student Information: A letter will go out the week of Aug. 10, which will include school fees, emergency medical form, picture envelope and free lunch information. 

School Supplies: To start the school year out students will need a couple binders (1 1/2-inch), pens, pencils, paper and index cards. Teachers will inform students at the beginning of the school year if additional items are needed.

Season Ticket Sales: Renewal of Season Ticket/All Sports Passes will be held in the high school office on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. or you can stop in during normal office hours.

Sports ticket holders can also return a copy of the form which was mailed out in mid-July to the previous 2014 season ticket holders. The deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 17, to be assured of keeping your same reserved seat for the sport of football.
