Beaverdam Veterans Memorial Committee accepting orders for personalized pavers
The Beaverdam Veterans Memorial Committee is creating a memorial to honor veterans, according to Gary Crawfis, committee member.
"The granite memorial that we have been working on has been ordered. It is to honor all area U.S. veterans and active service members, said Crawfis. "We would like to thank all who contributed in our fund raising efforts, from numerous raffles to a GOBA snack stop."
The committee is accepting orders for personalized brick pavers. The bricks are in conjunction with the memorial to be located at the new town hall in Beaverdam, dedicating it in 2016.
Persons interested in purchasing a paver to honor a veteran may use the attached form.
Members of the committee are Bill McClain, Bill Van Dyke, Jim McClain, Tom Green and Gary Crawfis.
