Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services named a national best practice agency
November is National Home Care & Hospice Month. Fittingly, Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services, Bluffton, has been name a national best practice agency by Fazzi Associates.
Organizations named as national best practice agencies are proven leaders and have excelled in the important measure of patient satisfaction.
Based on comparative analysis, Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services results for the Overall Satisfaction and Likelihood of Recommending survey questions placed it in the top 25% of Fazzi’s National Patient Satisfaction database.
Fazzi Associates presented Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services with its Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction to recognize this accomplishment.
Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services is celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2015. Their nurses offer in-home services such as:
• skilled nursing care
• medicine supervision
• post-surgical care
• physical assessments
• therapy services and
• home evaluations
Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services also has home care assistants who go to client’s homes to give support in the form of personal care, bathing and other needs.
Over the last 20 years Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services has served hundreds of clients in Allen, Hancock, Putnam and Hardin counties.
“We have made wonderful friends, shared many memories and enjoyed giving excellent care,” says Kathy Rode. “Many children don’t live in the area and they rely on us to provide that weekly interaction and communication with other health professionals about the needs of their loved ones. It is a very rewarding job.”
Rode has worked for MHCO for 34 years and has enjoyed her long career in serving elders.
