Photo art exhibit at Book ReViews during Blaze of Lights
Christina Dare, photo artist, will have an exhibit of her work at Book ReViews, 123 S. Main St., from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, according to Dr. Christina Walton, manager.
Dare will talk about her photos during the show.
After retiring from Owens Community College, Dare’s hobby became a full time successful award winning photography career with photo art exhibits in Ohio and international online venue.
Her photos use micro and macro elements of design and manipulation of flora, sky, nature and fractals.
Dare created a process of manipulation called, inverted art where images seen as dark were originally light and light was dark creating a new dimension in the viewer’s lens.
Her works, including prints, framed photos and portfolios for custom selection, will be on sale on Saturday at a 20 percent discount.
The exhibit will be on view through Dec. 12.
