BHS sophomores will visit Apollo Career Center on Friday
Approximately 650 sophomores in Apollo Career Center’s 11-member district, including students from Bluffton HS, will be visiting Apollo during 411Blast, Friday, Jan. 29.
Parents of sophomore students interested in attending Apollo for the 2016-17 school year are also invited to meet their student at Apollo.
The day is designed to expose students to career possibilities, and what paths are available that may lead to their career and/or college success. Students choose two programs of interest and then spend one-half day visiting those labs, meeting the instructors and participating in fun, interactive demos and activities.
The day provides students with more information to base their career decisions upon and gives them first-hand knowledge about the Career Center prior to enrollment which begins in February.
411Blast is the culmination of Apollo student services representatives presenting at the 11 associate schools to provide information about Apollo and 411Blast.
Students are then required to fill out a form for this interactive field trip which can also be found on Apollo’s website. For more information call 419.998.2921 or click apollocareercenter.com.
