Hunter named HCAC Track Athlete of the Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University’s Sarah Hunter (Mt. Blanchard, Ohio/Riverdale) ran away from the 800-meter field at the Findlay Classic over the weekend and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore won the event with a time of 2:23.04, topping a field of 21 competitors. Hunter currently leads the HCAC in the 800-meters this indoor season.
A Saturday date at Ohio Northern is the next competition slated for the Bluffton track and field program. The Beavers head to Ada at 11 a.m. on February 6.
