February 8, 2016
BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University’s Terrill Webb (Kenton) turned in a record-setting performance at Ohio Northern Saturday and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
The junior won the pole vault with a school-record of 12-5.50, besting the field by over eight inches while also shattering her school-record 12-0 vault set at Findlay less than a month ago. Webb's 12-5.50 is a new Joe Banks meet record as well!
Her winning leap currently places Webb fourth on the NCAA Division III national list.
The team will split its efforts this upcoming weekend with qualified athletes, including Webb, competing at Otterbein University in the All-Ohio Championship on Saturday, Feb. 13, while others will compete at Defiance College on Friday, Feb. 12.
