Jeanette Beach 1923 - 2016
Jeanette L. Beach, 92, of Bluffton died at 11:30 p.m. March 3, 2016 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. Jeanette was born in Bluffton Sept. 8, 1923 to Charles and Lillie Walters Burkholder. On Feb. 7, 1942, she married Franklin Beach who preceded her in death on April 11, 1990.
Jeanette was a homemaker who enjoyed drawing, painting and writing songs that she played on the guitar. She loved to travel.
Survivors include a son, Ronald (Dolly) Beach of Beaverdam, Sandra (Richard) Palte of Bluffton, Sherri (Burdette) Winegardner of Lima, five grandchildren, Ronald Beach Jr., Cindy Waldron, Mary Palte, Kristina East, Brad Palte, five great grandchildren, Kelli Patton, Louisa Dunlap, Camron East, Trevin Hirsch and Nicholas Beach. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Rick Palte, great-granddaughter, Natasha Hoehn and two sisters, Helen Hover and Dorothy Victory.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2016 at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Michael Downey will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com
