Four university students present recital April 10
Vocalists Mary Bender and Kimberly M. Meyer, tubist Samuel Black and trumpeter Aaron Johnson will present their Bluffton University junior recitals at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in Yoder Recital Hall. A reception will be held in the lobby following the recital.
Bender, from Harrisonburg, Va., is a soprano and Meyer, from Defiance, is a mezzo-soprano. Both are voice students of Dr. Crystal Sellers Battle, associate professor of music. Black is from Deshler, and is a student of Dr. Roy Couch, assistant professor of music. Johnson is from Goshen, Ind., and is a student of Paul Baransy, adjunct professor of music.
