MMH food service manager honored by foodservice association
Lori Neff, food service manager (FSM) at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton, was honored with the 2016 Innovation Award from the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP).
Neff, a certified dietary manager (CDM), received the award at the ANFP regional meeting in Nashville on March 11. Neff has been a member of the Mennonite Memorial Home team since June 2015.
Neff has been in the food service industry since she was 17. She passed the CDM exam in 1988, and continued with a supervisory role at Lima Memorial Hospital. In 1995, she accepted a position at Lima Health.
Within her first four months at Mennonite Home she helped create a six-week cycle menu.
The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals is a national not-for-profit association. It has over 14,000 members dedicated to the practice of providing optimum nutritional care through food service management.
