Hilty Preschool & Child Care, Pandora, hosts an open house for parents of prospective 6-week-old through 12-year-old children from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 10. The event is for summer and fall registrations.
 
Hilty Preschool & Child Care has provided childcare and preschool education in a Christian environment since 1989. 

According to Heather Sanchez of Hilty Home, “Experienced staff work with children to help them learn and develop skills. Each child receives individual attention with lesson plans specifically aligned with each child’s interest and Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards.”

Teachers and aides are CPR certified.

Age groups are served are:
• Infants age 6 weeks to 18 months
• Toddlers from 18 months to 3 years
• Preschool from 3 to 5 years
• School-age program from 5 through 12 

Sanchez said, “Following a daily routine, classes include language and literacy, math, science, creative arts, physical motor and daily sensory activities and Bible verses, stories and songs.
 
Hilty Preschool & Child Care offers large outdoor green spaces, including two playgrounds.
 
Summer Enrichment Program
The Summer Enrichment Program, beginning May 23, is for youth ages 5 through 12. A 12-week program includes arts, math and sciences.

“We will immerse the youths in projects, games, small and large group activities, field trips and more,” Sanchez said. 

Children can be signed up for their favorite week or take part in as many weeks as they wish.
 
A $35 registration fee is required for. Registrations fees will be waived during the open house. 

Hilty Preschool & Child Care is open Monday through Friday, 5:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.  A two-day per week minimum is required for registration. Full day preschool and morning preschool (8:30 to 11 a.m.) programs are available.
 
Part of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, Hilty Preschool & Child Care is in Hilty Home’s main building, 304 Hilty Drive, Pandora. The location creates inter-generational interaction, which enhances experiences of the children and elders.
