Panel to discuss impact of urban sprawl
The Christian Values in the Global Community class taught by Dr. Perry Bush, professor of history, will host a panel discussion on urban sprawl in Allen County from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20. The event is free and open to the public. It will take place in Yoder Hall.
The panel will include Allen County Commissioner Cory Noonan, Allen County Engineer Brion Rhodes and President/CEO of Allen Economic Development Group Jeff Sprague.
The discussion will open with an introduction of the topic and the speakers, followed by each panelist explaining how, from their occupational perspectives, urban sprawl is affecting Allen County and ending with a question and answer session.
Following the event, there will be a small reception in the anteroom of Yoder Hall for people to further explore the topic with the speakers.
