Ebenezer Mennonite holds National Day of Prayer program May 5
Ebenezer Mennonite Church will hold a National Day of Prayer program at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, in the Crossroads Ministry Center. There will be a color guard, and the pledge of allegiance be be presented by Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and American Heritage Girls. The service will be called to prayer by the playing of a shofar, or ram’s horn.
Along with worship music, several community leaders, pastors, and business persons will be praying for a variety of topics, such as government, education, military, and business. Representative Bob Cupp, of the 4th District of the Ohio House of Representatives, will offer a prayer.
The church is located at 8905 Columbus Grove Road, two miles west of Bluffton.
