Still lots on the middle school calendar even though the school year winds down
As the school year winds down there are still lots of events taking place. Here's an update on the Bluffton Middle School, from the school website:

• Thursday, May 12th - 8th Grade Mud Hens Game
• Monday, May 16th - Jr. High & HS Football Meeting - 6pm in the High School Gym
• Wednesday, May 18th - JH Sports Physicals
• Friday, May 20th - Middle School Dance (7pm - 10pm)
• Monday, May 23 - Thursday, May 26 - 8th Grade Washington D.C. trip
• Friday, May 27th - Last Day of Classes• Friday, June 3rd - Grade Cards Mailed
Jr. High Girls Basketball
6th & 7th grade girls thinking about playing basketball next year, stop in the middle school office and pick up a Summer Open Gym schedule.
Jr. High & High School Football Meeting
A meeting for all parents of Bluffton football players grades 7-12 (2016 season) is Monday, May 16, at 6 p.m. in the high school gym.
Football Cheerleading Try-outs
The Bluffton cheerleading program is giving another chance for anyone interested in being a cheerleader for football only. If you are interested, please come to the office to sign up and pick up an informational packet.
Bluffton Sardines
There will be a Bluffton Sardines swim meeting on Thursday, May 19th at 6:30 p.m. at the Bluffton Pool. There will be a representative from Poco Loco to assist with swimsuit try-ons. Visit the Bluffton Sardines on Facebook - Swim Bluffton.
Pirate Boys' Basketball Camp
The 2016 Bluffton Pirate youth basketball camp will be held Tuesday, May 31 - Friday, June 3, at Bluffton High School from 1 - 3 p.m. Cost is $30 per camper and includes camp instruction, T-shirt and prizes awarded for various competitions. Stop in the office to pick up a registration form.
Bluffton University Girls Basketball Camp
Bluffton University is sponsoring a 4 day Girls Skills Basketball Camp from June 27 - 30. Cost is $55 per camper. Deadline to register is June 1. Please stop in the office to pick up a brochure for more information.
Junior High Football Camp
Stop by the office to pick up camp registration form. The camp will be held on July 12, 14, 19 and 21 at Harmon Field from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for next year's 7th and 8th graders. Cost is $30 per camper which includes camp instruction, t-shirt, prizes and snacks.
