Annie Stocking 1924 - 2016
Annie Leishman Stocking, 92, of Bluffton and formerly of Brook Park, Ohio, died June 20, 2016, at 3:25 p.m. at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. Annie was born June 15, 1924, in Kirkintilloch, Scotland, to the late Albert and Jessie (Leishman) Unwin. Annie was the youngest of seven children and immigrated to the United States in 1948. On Sept. 11, 1954, she married Robert Stocking who preceded her in death on June 27, 2011.
Survivors include a daughter, Deb (Bob) Beer of Bluffton, Ohio; a son, Robin (Coleen) Stocking of Everett, Washington; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Unwin of Medina, Ohio, and Virginia Stocking of Lakewood, Ohio; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and three step-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Audrey's Outreach, c/o Brook Park Community Church, 16845 Holland Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142.
