United Way $26 shy of 2016-17 $25,000 goal
$26 puts the current United Way campaign on top.
Who will make the donation putting the campaign at 100 percent?
Neil Reichenbach, Bluffton-Beaveram-Richland Township United Way treasurer, told The Icon the good news about how close the United Way is to reaching its $25,000 goal.
And, there's still time to buy 50/50 tickets.
"We want to thank everyone who has purchased 50/50 tickets. The prize money is $208. If you would still like to purchase 50/50 tickets you can still do so Saturday, July 23, or Saturday, July 30 at the Farmers' Market downtown," he said.
Tickets may also be purchased at Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, Bluffton Family Recreation, or Bluffton Child Development Center.
The drawing is Saturday, July 30. Due to the cancellation of the Community Olympics, the drawing will take place at the Farmer's Market.
The campaign goal for 2015 -2016 is $25,500.
The local United Way supports Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary, American Red Cross, Bluffton Community Preschool, Bluffton Senior Citizens, Bluffton Family Recreation, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, Weekday Christian Ed, and Bluffton Community Assistance Corporation.
