Billy Rowe was retired from DTR Industries
Billy G. Rowe, 72, died on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at 5:40 a.m. at his residence in Alger.
He was born on July 20, 1944, in Shelby, Ohio, to Estle and Rosie (Lillo) Rowe who preceded him in death. On Jan. 29, 1964, he married Cheryl D. Weller and she survives in Alger.
Billy previously worked at the Ohio Kentucky Manufacturing Co. in Ada. He then worked for 26 years as a carpenter for Teledyne Ohio Steel in Lima. Billy then retired after working for 13 years for DTR Industries in Bluffton. He was a graduate of Alger High School.
Also surviving are his two sons: Donald (Tammy) Rowe of Ada and Rodney (Janine) Rowe of Harrod; six grandchildren and two great grandsons; a brother, Charles Rowe of Lakeview; five sisters: Della (Sammy) Fowler of Maggie Valley, NC, Shirley Neace of Jackson, Ky., Penny Wallen of St. Marys, Sally Prater of St. Marys and Patsy (Terry) Maurer of Seymour, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Keith Rowe.
There will be no funeral service or visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Health Professionals Hospice of Ada.
