Bright Pink 5K and fun run Sept. 17 at ONU
The second annual Bright Pink 5K and family fun run takes place in Ada during Ohio Northern’s Family Day on Saturday, Sept. 17. The race starts at 3 p.m., according to Carley Strzalka.
The event begins with registration at 2:15 p.m. at the ONU Pavillion. The race is held on The Green Monster on the ONU campus.
Registration is $15, which includes a t-shirt and raffle ticket. Participants must register by Sept. 1 for a guaranteed t-shirt. The $15 fee is waived for youth under 10 who are with a participating parent or guardian.

Breast and ovarian cancer survivors will be honored at the event and will receive a complimentary race registration.
Three ONU organizations sponsor this event to help fight breast and ovarian cancer. They are:
• Student Societies of Health-system Pharmacy (SSHP)
• Kappa Epsilon, professional pharmacy fraternity
• Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA).
