100-year-old Albert Bauman was retired farmer and school bus driver
Albert F. Bauman, 100, died Sept. 7, 2016, at 10:56 a.m. at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
Albert was born Sept. 17, 1915 in Union Township, Hancock County, Ohio, to the late Reuben and Lina (Klammer) Bauman. On Nov. 10, 1940 he married Geneva King Bauman who preceded him in death on Sept. 18, 2003.
Albert was a farmer and drove school bus for Mt. Cory for many years. He was a member of Mt. Cory United Methodist Church, Hancock County Farm Bureau and was a graduate of Mt. Cory High School.
Survivors include two sons, Dwayne (Pat) Bauman of Mt. Cory, Ohio, Lynn (Jane) Bauman of Edmund, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Diane (Toby) Bertke, Melissa (John) Curtis, Aaron (Marta) Bauman; a great grandson, Braeden Bauman; and two step great grandchildren, Ashley and Caitlin Fitzpatrick.
Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Mark Fuerstenau officiating. Burial will be in Clymer Cemetery near Mt. Cory following the service.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Cory United Methodist Church of Mennonite Memorial Home.
