Boys' soccer: Pirates blank Lincolnview 6-0
The Bluffton High School boys' soccer team fielded 6 different scorers against the Lincolnview Lancers at Lincolnview earlier this week. Bluffton held the Lancers to one shot on goal while taking 17 shots on goal themselves.
BHS won 6-0.
Scores were made by Trevor Bunch at 3 minutes; Douglas Nester scored at the 8:30 minute; and Eli Bourassa netted a goal at 9:00 minutes. All of the first three goals were assists by Luke Young.
The final first half goal was kicked by Jackson Steinmetz. Two second half goals were made by Noah Fredritz at the 62nd minute and by Luke Young at 65 minutes, assisted by Eli Bourassa.
The Lancers goalkeeper, Cody Hoehn had 10 saves, while Levi Smith made one save for Bluffton.
There was no JV game.
