Suter's corn maze opens Saturday
Just when you think they run out of ideas, the Suter corn maze opens with something so complex you wonder if you could ever escape.
The corn maze and Morning Star Cider Press are located at 8250 Road R, Pandora.
Suter's 2016 corn maze theme is "Twists and Turns in Transportation." That means there's a:
• Steam locomotive
• Ocean liner
• Race car
• Semi-truck
• Helicopter
• Jet
• and, yes that's blimp in the top left-hand corner.
Here's what you need to know about getting caught or finding your want out of this year's maze:
Opening date: Saturday, Sept. 17
Closing date: Sunday, Oct. 30
Hours:
Saturdays 1 to 8 p.m.
Sundays 1 to 8 p.m.
**Important - last admission 7 p.m.
Hayrides:
Saturdays and Sundays, 1 to 6 p.m.
There more amazing features at the maze. These include hayrides and pick-your-own pumpkins, corn cannons, giant tube slides and human hamster wheels to roll in.
New this year is a giant barrel train, described as fun for all ages. free mini-mazes and the biggest ear of corn you'll ever see.
Don't forget the cider press
The press opened on Sept. 14. It runs to Saturday, Oct. 30.
• Press cider Wednesday and Saturdays from 7 to 8:30 a.m.
• Cider press story open 7 days a week
Mondays-Fridays 1-6 p.m.
Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturdays 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sundays 1 to 8 p.m.
